The first day of the POLAGRA fair is behind us
Today, the fair was visited by a large group of representatives of the food industry
The POLAGRA fair has started. Every year, the event is a celebration of Polish food, a place of talks between producers of food products and their distributors, as well as technology suppliers for the food industry.
At 11.00 on the main stage in pavilion 5, the opening gala of the POLAGRA fair and the TAROPAK fair took place. It was attended, among others, by Grzegorz Puda, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ryszard Bartosik, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Riyad Atari, Minister of Agriculture of Palestine and Tomasz Kobierski, President of the Management Board of Grupa MTP, who welcomed the guests at the fair and emphasized: - People need meetings to look for contacts, expand them, look for inspiration. Today it is time to talk about food, a time when we have to deal with new consumer preferences, but also with changed distribution channels.
And this is what the first day of POLAGRA looked like. After the opening gala, during which the Gold Medals of the Grupa MTP were also awarded, the stands were filled with guests, and business talks lasted until late afternoon hours.
At the same time, the Master Baker bakery competition was taking place - today professional bakers and bakery amateurs competed. Representatives of the WKB Law Companz also appeared on the fair stage. The topic of the latest trends and legal obligations in food labeling, packaging and distribution, discussed today, attracted a large audience. The interest in the issue was enormous - the lecture session ended with many questions to which the invited experts answered.
It is worth noting that this year's POLAGRA fair will also be visited by the participants of the International Meat Market Forum launched today on the occasion of the General Assembly of UECBV (European Livestock and Meat Trading Union) and YEMCo, organized by the Polish Meat Association at the Poznań International Fair.
Tomorrow is another day of the POLAGRA fair and plenty of culinary inspiration: Master Class Show with the participation of Paweł Salomon and Ewa Drzewicka and the continuation of the bakery struggles.
